Classic Body Works specializes in premium auto restoration for antiques, classics, street rods, hot rods and customs.
The owner Steve Nicholson has over 20 years experience in the antique auto restoration, street rod fabrication, hot rod and custom industry. Steve started out in 1986 working for a company called Antique Auto Restoration in Wichita, KS restoring Model A Fords. Steve started Classic Body Works in 1992 and currently has four full time employees on the restoration staff.
The antique auto restoration services include, but are not limited to are: panel replacement, rust repair, fabrication, show quality body and paint and aluminum repair. Our primary specialty is frame off restorations of classic cars, muscle cars and European automobiles. The street rod fabrication, hot rod and customs services include ground up restoration and modifications such as sub frames, suspensions, sheet metal work such as replacing floors, firewalls, wheel tubs, panel fit and alignment. Also a/c installations, power windows, shaved handles, etc…
Classic Body Works also manufactures a line of shoebox Ford sheet metal parts for 1949-1951 Ford cars.
